05 WEEK DUKAN

I have lost 1.6 kg since last week, 8.6 kg in total. BMI 29.0 kg/m2

I have survived my fifth week on The Dukan Diet.

My scales state that I am now 86.9 kg — which is back to the rate I was hoping for, maybe last week was a blip.

04 WEEK DUKAN

I have lost 0.4 kg since last week, 7.0 kg in total. BMI 29.6 kg/m2

I have survived my fourth week/ first month on The Dukan Diet.

My scales state that I am now 88.5 kg.  It’s not much of a loss this week, I was hoping for 1.5 kg a week. Hope it’s not flattening out to a plateau.

03 WEEK DUKAN

I have lost 1.3 kg since last week, 6.6 kg in total. BMI 29.7 kg/m2

I have survived my third week on The Dukan Diet.

My scales state that I am now 88.9 kg.  Things are going well. I am no longer officially obese, I am merely Over-Weight according to the BMI ranges.

02 WEEK DUKAN

I have lost 1.2 kg since last week, 5.3 kg in total. BMI 30.1 kg/m2

I have survived my second week on The Dukan Diet.

My scales state that I am now 90.2 kg.  Things are going well.

01 WEEK DUKAN

I have lost 4.1 kg since last week, 4.1 kg in total. BMI 30.5 kg/m2

I have survived my first week on The Dukan Diet.

My scales state that I am now 91.4 kg.  Things are going well. That’s me finished the “Attack Phase”. The programme continues into the second phase, called “The Cruise Phase” — which is just the exact same as the “Attack Phase” except that every second day you can eat a few vegetables.  The Cruise phase lasts until I reach my goal weight — which is in the early 70s.

FIGHTING FAT

OK.  I just checked my BMI and I seem to have become obese.  Yes obese. How did that happen?

Well, here’s a list of high risk events for gaining weight:

  • Being over 40 years of age
  • Stopping cigarette smoking
  • Being married
  • Having an injury

I got all of these all clumped together. That’s how I put on weight.
